Coverage Summary (Residential, U.S.)
• Structure (frame, wall/ceiling/floor panels, bench frames/supports) — LIFETIME (limited)
• Heater Module — Covered by component manufacturer’s warranty (see Component Warranty Directory)
• Power Module — Covered by component manufacturer’s warranty (see Component Warranty Directory)
• Non‑structural items (glass, lighting, audio, controls, finishes, stones, fasteners) — [state coverage or excluded]
1) What this Warranty covers (Residential use; lifetime definition)
Subject to the exclusions/conditions below, Haven warrants that the structural components of your sauna will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product when installed, used, and maintained per Haven documentation under normal residential use.
“Structural components” include: the primary load‑bearing frame, wall/ceiling/floor panels, door frame, and bench frames/supports supplied by Haven.
“Lifetime of the product” means as long as the original retail purchaser owns the sauna and it remains at the original installation address. This Warranty is non‑transferable and applies to saunas delivered within the 50 U.S. states.
Commercial use. This Warranty does not cover commercial, hospitality, gym, or multi‑user facilities. Contact us for commercial coverage options.
1A) Wood & finish characteristics; normal wear
Wood is natural and responds to heat/humidity. The following are expected characteristics or normal wear and are not defects:
Color/grain variation and knots on benches and interior panels.
Raised grain, minor checking/hairline cracks, slight cupping/warp, or micro‑fissures from thermal cycling.
Surface wear and patina from normal use, including perspiration/water marks, minor dents/scratches, and finish depletion over time.
Color change (darkening/lightening) from UV and heat.
Effects from non‑approved cleaners/finishes.
Normal wear can often be addressed with light sanding per our Care & Maintenance guidance and does not indicate a structural defect.
Bench load & safety. Failure of a bench frame/support under normal residential use within the rated load of 600 lb/272 kg is a covered structural defect. Surface dents/scratches or finish wear on bench slats alone are not structural.
2) Third‑Party Components (covered by their own warranties)
Certain components are supplied by third‑party manufacturers and are not covered by Haven’s structural warranty:
Heater Module (heater assembly, controller, sensors, required stones).
Power Module (battery/power station, inverter, chargers, cables).
Each Third‑Party Component is covered exclusively by its manufacturer’s written warranty, which we make available pre‑sale and at purchase. See our Component Warranty Directory (havensauna.com/legal/warranty). Haven does not extend or modify a third‑party manufacturer’s warranty and is not responsible for its terms, coverage, or decisions.
Use of third‑party parts/services. Using non‑Haven parts or service does not by itself void this structural warranty; however, damage caused by such parts or service, by improper installation, or by operation outside the component manufacturer’s specifications is excluded.
3) What this Warranty does not cover (exclusions)
Cosmetic/wear‑and‑tear conditions on benches and interior wood that do not affect structural integrity (see §1A).
Improper installation, site prep, or environment (e.g., out‑of‑level surfaces, inadequate drainage/ventilation, standing water, flooding, pests, or storage/operation outside the manual’s ranges).
Improper clearances or placement near heat sources, or missing required stones, contrary to the Heater Module instructions.
Accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, impact, fire, vandalism, acts of God, or transportation damage after delivery.
Modifications or repairs by anyone other than Haven or an authorized provider that cause damage.
Incompatible chemicals/cleaners/finishes and the results of using them.
Mold/mildew or odor caused by inadequate ventilation/drying or leaving absorbent materials in the sauna.
Loads above the bench rating, concentrated point loads, or impact damage.
Preventive maintenance and adjustments, including sanding, re‑oiling, re‑sealing, and routine tightening/adjustment of fasteners or hinges.
4) Conditions of coverage
Install, use, and maintain the sauna per Haven manuals and labels.
Power source compliance. Whether connected to household service or a Power Module, the power source must meet the Heater Module’s specifications and applicable codes; follow the current instructions provided with each component.
Proof of purchase from Haven or an authorized reseller is required. Registration is optional and not a condition of coverage.
Coverage applies to units delivered within the 50 U.S. states and installed at the original address (contact us before relocating the unit; damage from relocation is excluded).
5) Remedies (what Haven will do)
If a covered structural defect arises, Haven will, at its option:
Repair the affected structural component; or
Replace the affected structural component with a new or refurbished component (finish/grain may vary); or
Provide a pro‑rata credit if repair or replacement is not commercially reasonable.
Labor, removal/re‑installation, packaging/disposal, and all shipping charges (including any requested overnight/special freight) are your responsibility, unless required by law or agreed by Haven in writing. No on‑site service is promised under this Warranty.
6) How to obtain service
Email hi@havensauna.com with: (i) your order number and purchase date; (ii) product model/serial (if available); (iii) photos/video and a description of the issue; and (iv) installation address and phone. Please contact us promptly after discovering an issue and take reasonable steps to prevent further damage. Do not return any item without written return authorization (RMA).
Third‑Party Components. Contact Haven first; we’ll triage and either facilitate a manufacturer claim for the Heater Module/Power Module or provide you with the warranty link and contact for the applicable manufacturer. This routing assistance does not alter manufacturer coverage.
No proof of purchase? If proof is unavailable, Haven may use the manufacture date in our records as the warranty start date for that unit.
7) Other terms and your rights
This is a limited warranty. To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties (e.g., merchantability, fitness) are limited to the shortest period permitted by law. Some states do not allow limits on the duration of implied warranties, so this may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by law, Haven is not liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of use/time). Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of such damages, so this may not apply to you.
Maximum obligation. Haven’s total liability under this Warranty will not exceed the purchase price you paid for the covered product/component.
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by state.
8) Changes
We may update this Warranty from time to time. The version in force at the time of purchase applies unless a later update clearly states otherwise in your favor.
